Savecard Student Discount Card, started in 2009 by an ex-student who felt that more discounts and choices could be available to students, which currently were not available through other student cards. Also noticed that many mature students returning back to education did not have a discount card or were not aware that they were entitled to the benefits of having one. Savecard Student Discount Card, welcomes all, Anyone over 16 in full or part time education, are welcome to apply for our card. You don’t have to be a resident of the UK or have to be studying for a long period of time to be eligible. If you are not sure of how to apply, just contact us at student information 01305 780796 during office hours or send an e-mail to student-discounts@btconnect.com

Q. Why, should I join Savecard Student scheme?
A. You don’t have to join, the choice is yours, if you agree then you
are the one benefiting from the savings.
Q. Is our card a union card?
A. NO, It simply says the card holder is a student, who can gain
from the benefits being offered.
Q. What is the difference between Savecard and the NUS Card?
A. Our card is a discount card for a student, it is not a union card
or a student photo ID card identifying the age of the card
holder.
Q. Is Savecard Student Card replacing the NUS Card?
A. NO, our only aim is to offer the student more discounts if they
choose to have our card.
Q. Where can I use the Savecard Student Card?
A. Currently the Dorset area although there are some national
services accepting our card or are prepared to offer a discount

Europe?
A. Within the first three months of starting our student card, we
already offered more discounts than any other student card in
the area more discounts more choices. Our aim is to be the best
in the South West by the end of 2010, by 2012 wait and see!!!

valid longer, than any other student card that we know of.

For SAVECARD discounts, you must join SAVECARD and become a member, you will receive
a membership card valid for eighteen months from the date you join, plus two update
packs during the course of your membership, informing you of all the businesses accepting
